Predict The Scores

UZBEKISTAN 1 COLOMBIA 3
13 got this one spot-on with a further 36 getting the two goal margin, predicting 0-2. All of our top six (as they are now) got the 3 points. Mike Collyer slips to 7th, Mike Fischer is the highest placed to take the 5 points and is up to 8th.

GHANA 1 PANAMA 0
The injury time curse strikes again. 94 minutes in, Steven Jewell was about to go top with his prediction of 0-0. Instead, Steven slips to 8th and, with Neil Mullen on the 1-0, 10 points off top spot. Cruel. Neil is the first to notch a sixth correct score and is back to 3 points ahead of Roisin Guargena. There is then another 4 point gap to John Guargena, who's back on the up in 3rd, finally hitting his fourth spot-on after taking the very first three of the competition.

ENGLAND 4 CROATIA 2
Two predicted this one spot-on for 7 points, with 2 bonus points awarded for only two guessing the correct score. Both Lexie Christiansen and Colin Jorgensen record their first correct scores of the competition. 18 teams take 3 points, 54 score 2 points. 2 points each for our top two, with Ryan Keenan and Steven Jewell moving a point closer. 10 is the best for the day so far, from Andrew Nyanchoka who picks 3 points to add to 7 from Portugal 1 Congo DR 1. That's taken Andrew from 101st to 47th. Two more games still to come though 'today'.

PORTUGAL 1 CONGO DR 1
With apologies to any Portuguese out there, what a beautiful result. Not many of us in the points for the first game of the day with 122 on the Portugal win.

Four managers predicted the 1-1, five in total the draw, while a fair few randoms came in. Ten managers take 7 points, six take 3 points. Alison Giovannetti was one to predict the 1-1. If you read my preview while the match was on, I did Alison an injustice, reporting she would climb from 21st to 9th. But I'd not taken into account the 2 bonus points... 1 for only four predicting the score, 1 for only five predicting any kind of draw. Alison in fact goes 3rd! David Metzger hits the top 10 with a 23 place climb, with both Mark Wilhelms' teams just behind. Barbara Willingham's random 3-pointer lifts her off bottom spot, leaving my own Shockers there.
