Predict The Scores

DAY 24 - SATURDAY JULY 4th
4 points for the majority on a day when France and Morocco brought in expected wins but at unexpected scores. Seven collected 9 points - inspired by France's 1-0 win which was worth 7 points. Mark Rees and Chris Bounds share the Manager of the Day trophy having actually predicted their scores. 14 games to go, Neil Mullen remains 7 points clear of Nick Mullen, who in turn is 6 clear of Richard Hancy in 3rd. Can anyone stop a Mullen winning the World Cup? In the Knockout Stage League, Mike Moore remains 4 clear of Richard Hancy and Jonathan Liu.

PARAGUAY 0 FRANCE 1
Well we (nearly) all went for the France win, but it's 2 points for most. Just two on the 0-1 for 7 points, six on 1-2 for 3 points. Mark Rees and Chris Bounds were those to get it spot-on and rise to 21st and 22nd.

CANADA 0 MOROCCO 3
Another late, late goal wipes out a load of Predict the Scores points, with 19 on 0-2 and a fair few looking for 3 points for 1-3. As it is, four teams (one randomised) take 6 points for the correct score. Nobody gets 3 points, 86 of us score 2. It doesn't affect our tables much - the highest placed with the correct score is Aidan Wilhelm, up 10 places to 74th, Marco Giovannetti just behind Aidan. Marco makes the most significant move in the Knockout Stage League, up 20 to 31st.
